Membership, Fees & The Audit Process
Our process is designed to be rigorous, transparent, and highly constructive. We act as your compliance partner, ensuring you meet global standards efficiently. All fees are assessed in CAD.
Establish Institutional Membership
Legal entity verification before compliance access.
Provide your Primary Entity Profile, establish your Governance Architecture (designating an Authorized Signatory and a Compliance Lead), and upload official government-issued legal registration documentation (PDF). There is no upfront fee to submit this initial application.
Once your legal standing is vetted, your annual membership is invoiced. This grants access to the Members Portal, policy templates, and registry listing.
The Interactive Self-Assessment
Module-based evidence submission inside the Members Portal.
All badges mandate proof of an AI Acceptable Use Policy, a designated oversight authority, a formal AI Incident Response Protocol, and staff training syllabi. Every affirmative claim requires substantiating evidence (PDF uploads).
Depending on your application, you will be prompted to upload specialized documentation, such as Chatbot Bias Protocols (for ITB), Vendor Data Processing Agreements (for OPB), or IP Auditing Workflows (for CIB).
Independent Inspection & Remediation
Documentary audit conducted by a certified AEQSB Inspector.
A certified AEQSB Independent Inspector conducts a thorough documentary review of every framework and policy submitted during your self-assessment.
Our goal is your success. If your documentation falls short of our standards, your Inspector will issue a formal recommendation report. You are granted exactly 15 days to update policies, clarify workflows, or submit missing information — without penalty.
5-Year Certification & Public Registry
Digital credential issued and published on the global registry.
Upon successful audit and Board approval, your 5-Year Certification Fee is invoiced below. Your institution is awarded the digital credential, and your verifiable status goes live on the AEQSB global registry.
